  1. 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-14): This expansion team started life at 0-26.
  2. 2008 Detroit Lions (0-16): At least they outscored five other teams this year.
  3. 1942 Detroit Lions (0-11): Lost by a combined score of 263-38.
  4. 1934 Cincinnati Reds (0-8): Were suspended for the last three games of the season for not paying league dues.
  5. 1943 Chicago Cardinals (0-10): One of 10 straight losing seasons.
  6. 1925 Columbus Tigers (0-9): One of several “traveling teams” from the old NFL.
  7. 1928 Dayton Triangles (0-7): Won just five of 51 games between 1923-1929.

  10. 1944 Brooklyn Tigers (0-10): Merged with the Boston Yanks the following season.
