- 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-14): This expansion team started life at 0-26.
- 2008 Detroit Lions (0-16): At least they outscored five other teams this year.
- 1942 Detroit Lions (0-11): Lost by a combined score of 263-38.
- 1934 Cincinnati Reds (0-8): Were suspended for the last three games of the season for not paying league dues.
- 1943 Chicago Cardinals (0-10): One of 10 straight losing seasons.
- 1925 Columbus Tigers (0-9): One of several “traveling teams” from the old NFL.
