With Shawn Marcum at the mound the Toronto Blue Jays will look to continue their winning ways against the number two team in the American League East Division.
After a win on Saturday and Friday's game postponed due to rain the Jays moved to 5-2 against their rival Red Sox. They will look to secure the two-game sweep with a win on Sunday afternoon.
Marcum, 1-0 against the Sox this year, will face off against Josh Beckett (0-1 against Toronto).
Elsewhere in Sunday baseball the Florida Marlins will look to take on the NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs in their pursuit of the hotly contested NL East crown.
In American League Central action, the Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins tied for first in the division will both look to beef up their records (69-53) against disappointing AL west clubs, Oakland and Seattle respectively.
