Nate "The Great" Marquardt is an elite-level grappler with a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu under elite teacher Ricardo Murgel.

Demian Maia is an elite-level Brazilian jiu jitsu fighter, holds a second-degree black belt and trains with Wanderlei Silva's Wand Fight Team.

Maia is undefeated in 10 career fights, including five in the UFC, but he's taking a serious step up in class here. The winner of this fight is likely to be right behind Dan Henderson in the line of fighters waiting for a shot at Anderson Silva.

Marquardt, listed as the -190 fave, will probably win but Maia is the better bet at +150.

The difference-maker this time around could be Maia's wrestling, as Marquardt will struggle to keep him at bay.

Can Maia pull off the upset and lock up a possible date with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva?
