Host of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver received city council approval last month to host MMA events, lifting a 3-year ban. Upon hearing the news, UFC organizers were quick to snag Jun 12th at GM Place for its UFC 115 event. According to Vancouver News 1130 All News Radio, another rematch between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz is in the works.

Liddell and Ortiz will be going toe-to-toe as coaches in UFC's 11th season of "Ultimate Fighter," which airs March 31 on Spike TV. It will be a tight squeeze for them to finish the show( and then fit in time to train) and hop on a flight up to Van City, but UFC is looking to make another splash in Canada by bringing in two big names.

I guess that means "The Iceman" is feeling fine these days. (Maybe his stint on "Dancing with the Stars" was all he needed to get back into fighting.)
