On Saturday, April 19 in Montreal, Canada, Mac Danzig (18-4-1) will fight for the first time since winning the sixth season of The Ultimate Fighter with a choke over Tommy Speer (9-2) in December of 2007.

His opponent at UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2 will be Canadian jiu-jitsu expert Mark Bocek (5-1).

Currently, Danzig is the -550 favorite to win in the Bodog Sportsbook. Bocek is a +350 underdog.

"A lot of people don’t understand how much of a tough fight this is stylistically and how easy it is for this guy to slow the fight down," Danzig tells MMAweekly.com. "He’s really motivated to take the fight to the ground. A lot of people expect me to walk through this guy but it’s not like that; he’s really, really tough."

Facing a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Danzig says he'll look to win by knockout, and look to avoid the takedowns of his opponent.

"I’m always looking for that damn knockout that has eluded me," he explains. "I’ve gotten plenty of TKO wins, but I’ve never gotten that clean KO win. I feel like it’s my duty to make this fight exciting for the fans."
