The "Redeem Team" took the first step in their quest to recapture gold by defeating Greece 92-69 on Wednesday.
The U.S. Basketball team plowed through Greece at the Beijing Olympics using hustle and strong defense to overpower them.
"It meant a lot to us. We wanted to keep the pressure on them, kind of redeem ourselves," Chris Bosh said. "This was a payback game for us, and we knew people were wondering how we were going to respond."
Bosh and Kobe Bryant led the team with 18 points.
