With Saturday's exhibition against Pittsburgh looming, the Minnesota Vikings needed to make a decision about the availability of starting QB Tarvaris Jackson. It appears as though coach Brad Childress has reached it.

According to reports out of Vikings' camp, the team will start Jackson in the Pittsburgh game despite having a sprained right knee. Jackson hurt the knee in Minny's last game and while it was originally thought to be a MCL injury, the team has him officially listed with a knee.

If Jackson cannot play, Gus Frerotte will step in as the starter. Frerotte went 4-for-9 for 32 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens. Get all your NFL odds, futures, props and lines in the Bodog Sportsbook today!
