Warriors Going After Elton Brand

With Baron Davis quickly opting to sign with the L.A. Clippers the Golden State Warriors have decided to go after former Clipper Elton Brand, offering him a maximum contract.

With Davis gone the Warriors can now offer Brand about $100 million for five years. They've supposedly offered the same to Gilbert Arenas.

Brand has been a 20-point, 10-rebound machine since entering the NBA.
