If the Golden State Warriors wanted to show the rest of the NBA that they were pissed about losing Baron Davis, they're certainly proving it in free agency.

After losing Davis, the Warriors went on the offensive, signing Corey Maggette and Ronny Turiaf while trading for New Jersey's Marcus Williams. And today, they've added Maurice Evans.

The 6-foot-5 Evans averaged 9.3 points per game last season in Orlando, where he played in 68 games and established himself as a solid perimeter scorer and sparkplug off the bench. Golden State locked him up with a three-year, $6.4 million deal, likely signaling the end of Kelenna Azubuike's stay. Azubuike signed an offer sheet with the Los Angeles Clippers last week and while they have until Friday to match, the Warriors appear ready to move forward with Evans as his replacement.
