As bad as the San Diego Chargers have played this season, there still have a shot at making the postseason. With no room for any more mistakes, the Chargers look to come out of their bye week rejuvenated and avoid dropping their third straight game Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs.
Despite their struggles, the 15-point favored Chargers are still in sight of AFC West-leading Denver. One of the biggest areas of concern has been on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers have no sacks or interceptions in the last nine quarters and have only six picks and 10 takeaways on the season. They are also last in the league in pass defense and 23rd in scoring defense.

The Chiefs have lost four in a row and have dropped 16 of 17 dating to last season. Larry Johnson will miss his fourth straight game thanks to a suspension by the NFL.
