Break up the Bills, break up the Bills! Football in Buffalo has not had this much excitement surrounding it since Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas suited up. Next in the path of the AFC East-leading club is a struggling St. Louis Rams team, which is now pinning its hopes on veteran QB Trent Green.

The Rams have scored only 29 points this season, making them the only NFC team with fewer than 50. A change had to be made and coach Scott Linehan is running out of available options. Their defense has given up a league-high 116 points to complement the woeful offense.

Buffalo has won four of the last five meetings between these teams straight up, and will be looking to go 4-0 this season for the first time since 1992.

Unless Steven Jackson – the lone bright spot in St. Louis – can do it all by himself, it seems likely the Rams and Bills will continue to go in opposite directions. The underdog Rams will have to stay within eight to cover this week.
