The phrase “Houston we have a problem” never seemed so fitting to describe the Texans so far this season. They are 0-2 (0-2 ATS), they almost got blown away by Hurricane Ike, and now they can't score touchdowns once they reach their opponents’ 20-yard line. Houston has scored touchdowns in only 33.3 percent of their trips to the red zone, and are tied for 28th in the NFL.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, who are favored by more than a touchdown on Sunday, are coming off a big upset win over the Colts. The Jaguars were ranked 27th in the NFL in rushing offense with 65 yards per game but they had 103 yards in the first half against the Colts, going on to total 236 for the game.
Will it continue against a Houston D that ranks 27th in rushing yards allowed? You can almost bet on it.
