Weigh In Results for April 4 New Jersey IFL Event

Fighters have made weight for the International Fight League event scheduled for Friday, April 4 in East Rutherford N.J.

Representing the Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu team, Jamal Patterson (4-1) came in at 205.6 pounds. Friday night, he will fight IFL light heavyweight champion Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko (20-3) for the 205-pound belt. Fighting for the Midwest Combat team, Matyushenko is currently the -500 favorite in the Bodog Sportsbook.

Fighting for the welterweight belt, challenger Mark Miller (8-2) and champion Jay Hieron (14-4-1) both made the weight limit, with Hieron at 170-pounds exactly, and Miller at 170.4 pounds. A member of Team Tompkins, Hieron is the -330 favorite to defend his belt, while Miller is a +260 underdog for the Midwest Combat team.

Featherweight champion Wagney Fabiano (9-1), another member of the Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu team, is a -650 favorite in the Bodog Sportsbook, while opponent Shad Lierley (2-1) is a +450 underdog. Fabiano weighed 145.4 pounds while Lierley was 145.8.

The undercard for the event pits fighters from American Top Team against opponents from Miletich Fighting Systems, and features Bodog Fight veteran Rafael "The Claw" Dias (10-3-1).
