Undefeated 5-division boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (29-0, 24 KO's) might be considering a switch to mixed martial arts.
According to ESPN.com, Mayweather has developed a relationship with Mark Cuban, founder of HDNet Fights and the two are talking about a possible move to the sport of MMA.
"It would be huge," Cuban said in a recent interview. "He's an icon in boxing. He's conquered that world. He is the champ and he wants to be the biggest grossing all-time champ as well. Having him work with MMA and HDNet Fights would be huge. It would take it to a whole other level."
"We discussed him coming out to some of the gyms and one hand helping some of the fighters we're working with on their boxing skills," Cuban explained. "On the flip side, he can get a sense of what it's going to take to make the conversion."
Considered the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Mayweather earned about $50-million dollars while defeating Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton in two consecutive title matches.
Mayweather and Cuban met while competing on "Dancing with the Stars."

MAYBE, MAYBE Mayweather does well in the MMA world.
I belive he would be best served to compete in K1 type events where his boxing skills well enable him to do very well.
He may find the oing very tough in bouts where grappling and submissions are in the mix.
Don't forget. Even an amateur MMA fighter could give Floyd real problems.
Still "Kudos" yo "Pretty Boy" if he's serious about testing himself in the ring where true gladiators compete.
