La Jolla is Tiger country. How else to explain the hold Tiger Woods has over California's quaint seaside community? See, La Jolla is home to Torrey Pines Golf Course, the host of the 2008 U.S Open. Torrey Pines also happens to be home to the Buick Invitational, a tournament Tiger has won a record six times since 1999.

Woods owns nearly every record set at Torrey Pines: He shot 62 on the South Course in 1999; he won the tournament four straight years from 2005-08; he's tied with George Burns for the best overall score of 266. Yes, Tiger likes playing Torrey Pines.

Which is why – despite rehabbing from knee surgery and not walking a full 18 since the Masters – he's still the odds-on favorite to hoist the U.S. Open trophy for the third time in his career. Read the remainder of Tiger Loves Torrey Pines in Bodog Nation.
