The New York Yankees have decided to bring in some more offense.
According to ESPN's Buster Olney they've reached a tentative agreement with waived Seattle first baseman Richie Sexson.
Olney states that he fits the Yankees because they need a right-handed slugger to face left-handed pitching and he has a .344 average versus lefties this year.
I still think he's only good for one hit every 10 games.
Sexson will make $390,000 for the mid-season deal.
Sexson was batting .218 with just 30 RBIs in 74 games when the Mariners cut him on July 10.
