Zambrano Ready to Start for Cubs

With Alfonso Soriano on the DL and Aramis Ramirez out for the next three games with personal issues, the Chicago Cubs were pleased to hear that ace pitcher Carlos Zambrano is ready to return to the rotation.

"I feel great today. I guess 'Z' is back," Zambrano said. "I'm ready to go out there and do my job."

Zambrano has been out since June 18 after feeling discomfort in his shoulder while facing the Tampa Bay Rays.
