Only the NFL can make a preseason game this appealing.

The Aaron Rodgers era officially begins for Green Bay tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, and if the Packers offense doesn't come out blazing the home crowd will turn on the Packers quick.

With Brett Favre booted to the New York Jets the Packers' success is squarely on the shoulders of Rodgers, if he doesn't deliver early in this contest expect him to hear a loud chorus of boos.

As for the Bengals, not as much drama. Though it will be interesting to see if wide receiver Chad Johnson gets any playing time in this game. He's finally been practicing after recovering from ankle surgery.

The Green Bay Packers are -3 favorites, get your NFL exhibition odds in the Bodog Sportsbook!

After months of speculation, slander, innuendo and rumor, Green Bay Packers training camp started how many figured it would despite the wildfire – Aaron Rodgers as starting quarterback.

The Brett Favre-inspired media circus surrounding Wisconsin these days basically overshadows the story that Rogers now inherits one of the toughest jobs in pro sports. With Packers GM Ted Thompson insisting that Favre coming back in a reserve role is still a possibility, Rogers could very well be replacing a legend…while the legend holds a clipboard and waits for him to mess the bed.

Oddsmakers appear leery of the Pack situation. Currently, Green Bay is listed as a 25/1 longshot to win the 2009 Super Bowl, featured as a part of the numerous Football Futures Betting options available in the Bodog Sportsbook.
