The September issue of the German Playboy will have a distinctly Olympic feel to it. That's largely due to the fact that four German Olympians – Katharina Scholz, Petra Niemann, Romy Tarangul and Nicole Reinhardt – will be posing for the legendary skin magazine.

This isn't the first time Olympic athletes have posed for Playboy. Back in 2004, the September issue featured eight Olympic hopefuls for the Athens Games. Among them were Amy Acruff, a high jumper for the United States; Ineta Radevica, triple jumper from Latvia; and Katie Vermuellen, a runner from Canada.

And lest we forget the famous posing of German figure skater Katarina Witt in 1998. Yummy.

The 23-year-old swimmer, who won a record-breaking eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, turned down Wheaties, since he had already appeared on their boxes previously.

This is the latest endorsement deal for the swimming champ, who is expected to make $100 million over the course of his lifetime with deals with PowerBar, Omega, AT&T Wireless, Visa and Speedo, reports US magazine. Yesterday, Phelps appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated draped in his eight gold medals, much like Mark Spitz did after he won seven gold medals in the 1972 Munich games.

Well, that was anti-climactic.

In a game anticipated to be the United States' first real test of the 2008 Summer Olympics, its Australian counterparts couldn't muster much of a fight, losing 116-85 in a game America dominated from the second quarter onward.

Kobe Bryant poured in 25 while LeBron James chipped in with 16 as the U.S. moved into the semifinals, where they will face defending Olympic gold medalists Argentina in the semis. Australia was paced by 20 points from phenom Patrick Mills, the sophomore from St. Mary's. Andrew Bogut, the lone NBAer on the Aussie roster, was invisible for much of the night and ended up with just four points in 11 minutes of action.

It promises to be an engaging affair in the semis though, as Argentina possesses one of the best teams in the international game and still have bragging rights as the winners from the previous games in Athens. If you're looking to get in on the action for this one, check out the Bodog Sportsbook today for all the latest 2008 Olympic Summer Games Betting available today!

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps refuses to reveal who his girlfriend is. However, he confirms to Extra TV's Dayna Devon that it isn't fellow Olympian Amanda Beard.

"No, I'm not dating Amanda Beard," Phelps said. "I'll say that. I think she has a boyfriend."

However, when the eight-time Beijing Olympic gold medalist was asked who his main squeeze is, he said, "Part of my life is kept to myself. I'm able to relax and be with my friends. Those pretty much are the only people who really know the answer to that question."

Phelps does reveal to Devon that his celebrity crush is actress Cameron Diaz, saying, "She seems like she has a cool personality."

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also speculates that Phelps' lady love might be British model Lily Donaldson.

Even though Phelps is done with swimming, there's still plenty of Beijing Olympics betting to be done!

It took a while, but Shawn Johnson is finally golden.

Johnson, the 16-year-old American gymnast who had failed to secure gold in Beijing, made good on her final attempt at a gold medal by winning the balance beam competition. Her 16.225 was more than enough to place ahead of U.S. teammate Nastia Liukin (16.025) and China's Cheng Fei (15.95).

She'd thrice been denied a gold, having captured three silver medals in the gymnastics competition thus far. But on the beam – widely considered to be one of her strengths – she made good despite pushes from all-around gold medalist Liukin and the always strong Chinese contingent.

While the gymnastics competition is coming to a close, there's still lots of quality track and field options available for the wagering public! Be sure to check out the Bodog Sportsbook today for all the latest 2008 Olympic Summer Games Betting options available, including props on Usain Bolt bringing home another gold in the 200 M!

It was a dream ending to a dream story.

Henry Cejudo, the son of undocumented Mexican immigrants, won the U.S. its first every Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling by capturing the 55kg division crown with an upset victory of Japan's Tomohiro Matsunaga.

Cejudo barely made the Olympic team in the first place, having to come from behind to win the U.S. trials. He also trailed in all three of his preliminary matches in Beijing.

The final was a different story. While he never trailed, he was tied with Matsunaga at 2-2 after the first period. Cejudo then jumped to a 3-0 lead early in the second period to clinch the match.

The American women are headed to the gold medal final for the fourth straight Olympics.

Paced by two goals from Angela Hucles, the U.S. held off a game Japanese squad to advance to the gold medal final via a 4-2 scoreline. The Americans will now face Brazil in the final, the same squad they defeated 2-1 in extra time four years ago in Athens.

The Americans have played in the Olympic gold medal match every time since women's football debuted at the 1996 Atlanta Games, missing the title only in 2000 in Sydney after a loss to Norway.

Hucles' tallies sandwiched a 44th minute goal from Lori Chalupny and the game-winning tally from Heather O'Reilly in the 70th. Shinobu Ohno and Eriko Arakawa replied for the Japanese, who will now take on Germany in the bronze medal match.
