Looking to make his second start as a Brewer, C.C. Sabathia will face off against the Cincinatti Reds at 2:05 EST.

In his first outing with Milwaukee, Sabathia went six innings striking out five batters and allowing just two runs.

Reds outfielder Adam Dunn will hope to repeat on last night's performance that saw him homer twice and drive in four.

In American League action the Boston hope to tackle the Orioles once again as they close the gap between themselves and the first place Tampa Bay Rays.

The Orioles, after being swept by the Toronto Blue Jays recently, seem on their way to the bottom of the division.

Meanwhile the Jays will look to take on the New York Yankees in the final game of their series at the Rogers Centre, the two teams have each won once so far. Look for Andy Pettitte and A.J. Burnett to start on the mounds.

The biggest news in baseball today came out of Cleveland as the struggling Indians have shipped out reigning Cy Young Award winner C.C. Sabathia to the Milwaukee Brewers.

In exchange for the left-hander the Indians secure standout AA prospect Matt LaPorta and others to be named later.

Sabathia, who went 19-7 last season is just 6-8 so far and the Brewers wanted to finalize the deal in time to have him make two starting appearances prior to the July 15th All-Star Game.

Elsewhere in the Major Leagues, an epidemic of extra innings broke out as it took the Atlanta Braves 17 innings to surpass the Houston Astros 7-6.

C. C. Sabathia reigned supreme in a pitching battle with Greg Maddux on Sunday, as the Cleveland Indians downed the San Diego Padres 7-3.

Though neither ace was particularly dominant, Sabathia did walk away with the upper hand, giving up just three earned runs in eight innings of work, and striking out 10.

Maddux on the other hand gave up four runs in the first four innings and was yanked after six.

Leading the offense for the Tribe was Grady Sizemore and second-year man Ben Francisco. Both Sizemore and Francisco homered in the game while Francisco drove in three.

Also this afternoon, the struggling Blue Jays dropped another contest to the Chicago Cubs after falling into last place in the American League East.

Former Jay Ted Lilly left the mound with a win in six innings after blanking the struggling Toronto offence.

Though the game then opened up with eight runs coming in the final three innings, an Aramis Ramirez homer and three RBIs from Carlos Lee didn't the left-hander's case.

Elsewhere in the majors, the Boston Red Sox routed the Cincinnati Reds, 9-0 thanks to home runs from Jacoby Ellsbury, Coco Crisp, J.D. Drew and Dustin Pedroia.
