Dr. Phil was humiliated at George Michael's L.A. concert last night. TMZ reports that when George pointed out Dr. Phil and his wife Robin in the audience, the audience booed when the couple appeared on the monitor.

George then mocked Phil by announcing that Phil looked bored, while wife Robin seemed to be having a blast — a statement which was met with even more boos.

We're guessing Dr. Phil wouldn't be the head-banging, crowd-surfing type, but again — that's just a guess. Phil left the show shortly after being booed.

George Michael will be hitting the road marking his first North American tour in 17 years. His new record, entitled Twenty-Five, slated to drop April 1st and is a 2-disc set which features duets with Paul McCartney and Mary J. Blige in addition to many of Michael's hit solo songs.

"I don't want to do anything on this scale again," Michael told the press. "No more stadiums. I'd like to be the Tony Bennett for my generation."

Michael told the media that his U.K. tour was "too much of a party to represent what I've done" — meaning North American fans won't hear Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and I Want Your Sex.

"I'm too old," he said. "But they'll get Careless Whisper, which I don't particularly enjoy singing."
