Now, the world's most notorious bachelor is actually pining for his lost love. Hugh Hefner has reportedly told Los Angeles Confidential he’d welcome Holly Madison back with open arms, even though he has a new girlfriend, Crystal Harris.

"How serious, and intimate, and important that works out to be, well we'll have to wait and see because it's only a couple months old," Hef said of his relationship with Harris.

Hefner went on to tell the mag that Madison, who he dated for seven years, is the “love of his life” and  he’d welcome her back anytime.

To this, Holly said, "I loved my time at the mansion and think the world of Hef. There comes a time in everyone's life where they need to go their own way."

After TMZ revealed yesterday what Dancing with the Stars contestant Shawn Johnson's sweet, sweet contract, it's no wonder these stars are breaking hips, dodging stalkers and busting knees to stay on the show.

So here's a rundown of the injuries thus far: Jewel and Nancy O'Dell both wrecked their knees before the show even started. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak also busted his knee. Sex and the City actor Gilles Marini pulled his groin, Steve-O is pretty much a cripple, Shawn Johnson almost got bound and gagged by her stalker and now Holly Madison may have cracked a rib.

Apparently, Holly hurt her rib during rehearsals last week, but kept dancing due to the enormous financial bonuses stars gets for staying on the show. Holly's mouthpiece said the pain has gotten so bad that she can't do some of the moves anymore, so she's going off to the doctor to see if he can fix her. But there's a possibility that she has a cracked rib.

The Emergency Room Dancing with the Stars show has seen its share of casualties. Last season, Jennie Garth fell, Marie Osmond passed out, Jane Seymour's mom died, and then Seymour got food poisoning. A coincidence? Or a centuries-old hex?

US magazine reports, "'All she's doing is following Criss Angel around to all of his magic shows, with no legitimate job to speak of,' said an insider. 'She's still heartbroken and regretful about how things went down with Hef. 'Then she ran into the arms of Criss Angel,' the source told Us. 'But then it's like, This is not everything I thought it would be.'"

In the meantime, Angel remains in Las Vegas where he performs his widely-panned show, Criss Angel Believe, five nights a week at the Luxor.

Holly says: "I want to be with somebody I can have more of a future with eventually. Hef and I can't get married and have kids, so it was fun while it lasted."

Holly also discovered that Hugh Hefner was high maintenance. She says, "As for her personal love life, she adds, "It might be refreshing to date someone who is not high maintenance. Sorry, Hef, you know you're high maintenance. I love you but you know you're high maintenance."

Holly has apparently moved on to Criss Angel, who is a real catch. Angel said of Holly, "We're good friends and we love spending time with each other." And then he added, "Friends with benefits. Yeah!"

Things keep getting better for the golden boy, who recently tried his hand at poker and ended up cashing at the Caesars Poker Classic. And now, word on the street (via the Las Vegas Review-Journal) is that Phelps been seen all over Vegas with none other than Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's not-so-sloppy seconds.

Anyone want to wipe that grin off Phelps' face? Get in line, homies, Get in line.

"They [Karissa and Kristina Shannon twins] very much want to be girlfriends and now under the present circumstance, they probably will become my girlfriends," Hefner said.

The girls have reportedly been sleeping in the same bed with the 82-year-old Playboy founder.
