However, West hasn’t blogged about it in all caps, so it might not be true.

According to Star, however, Kanye has been boozing ever since his mother Donda died after receiving a tummy tuck in November 2007. An insider tells the mag, “His drinking is getting worse — and when he has too much, he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”

Obama was speaking off the record, however the audio stream leaked by ABC News anyway. Terry Moran, who co-hosts Nightline, posted this update on the micro-blogging website last night saying: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."

Taylor Swift has accepted an apology made by West after she made an appearance on The View and complained that West had not yet offered her a personal apology.

As of the airing of the show, Taylor said that West had yet to contact her to apologize to her personally. However, representatives from The View say West called Taylor immediately after her appearance on Tuesday's show.

Last night on the Jay Leno Show, a visibly shaken Kanye West offered the following apology: “It was rude, period. So many celebrities, they never take the time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, ’cause, and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve.”

The press release read, "After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West's apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private."

Swift had won the VMA for best female video for “You belong with me." As she began her acceptance speech, West appeared on stage and said that Beyonce should have won for her video “Single ladies (Put a ring on it)”. Kanye was booted from the show, but the damage had been done – Taylor Swift's moment, ruined. And now, the one thing that Kanye did do right – offering an apology – has been retracted. As Swift began her acceptance speech after winning the VMA for best female video, Kanye West ripped the microphone from her and yelled, "Taylor, I'm really happy for you. I'll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!"

Hilariously, cameras cut to Beyonce, who sat in the audience with her mouth open. Kanye handed the microphone back to Swift and left the stage to a chorus of boos from the audience. Taylor tried to continue her acceptance speech, but because her mike was cut off, no one could hear her. Producers awkwardly cut to Tracy Morgan and Eminem while poor Taylor walked off the stage.

TMZ is reporting that their photographer named Erik witnessed Kanye grabbing a camera from a still photographer and smashing it. With his own footage rolling, Erik approached West and his entourage and an assistant grabbed his camera and smashed it.

West then tried to board his plane but was stopped by police and interviewed. Cops also interviewed Erik, who told police he had video of the incident. When Kanye heard this, he lunged toward him and said, "Give me the fuckng videotape."

After cops restrained him, Kanye was arrested on felony vandalism charges. His assistant was also booked.

Kanye's KW Foods LLC plans to open ten Chicago locations of the California-based fast food chain Fatburger.

The first of the restaurants is set to open in Orland Park in September, while a second restaurant will open in January.

Apparently, the delay was due to issues setting up his set after taking down Pearl Jam's stage. Moreover, Pearl Jam's performance ran an hour over their alloted time. However, even after the issues were addressed and Kanye's stage was set, the rapper did not appear for another hour — sending fans into a tailspin. Fans booed and threw bottles and glow sticks at the stage, one of which damaged West's main centerpiece screen.

Allegedly, there was also an altercation backstage between Pearl Jam's crew and West's.

The eviction occurred at West's Glow in the Dark concert in Minneapolis.
