Kyle Busch (+600) thought he mapped out the right strategy to take him to Victory Lane on Sunday.

Instead, he ended the race in the infield care center after a vicious last-lap accident sent him flying into the wall as Tony Stewart (+600) skirted by for the win at the Coke Zero 400.

Stewart had the dominant car, leading a race-high 86 laps and using a flawless pit-road performance to set himself up for his second win as owner of his race team. But Busch had other ideas, taking the lead seconds before the last lap to start a frantic 2.5-mile chase between the former teammates.

Jimmie Johnson was second, and Denny Hamlin, Busch’s teammate, finished third. Edwards was fourth, and Kurt Busch fifth.

Marcos Ambrose was sixth, followed by Brian Vickers, who came back from an accident, and Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Infineon Raceway for Sunday's Toyota/SaveMart 350. The event is the only Cup race there this season.

Jeff Gordon is pretty much the overwhelming favorite this weekend, pegged at +500 to win.

There's a reason for that: With five wins in 16 races and an average finish inside the top 10, why would you even think of picking against him?

Tony Stewart (+550) is arguably one of the best road course racers NASCAR has ever seen and he arrives at Infineon raceway with loads of confidence and momentum.

Can Kyle Busch (+600) make it three consecutive Sprint Cup Series road course wins?

Or can Juan Pablo Montoya (+750) continue his hot streak that has him knocking on the door of the Chase?

Watch for all of the drivers’ pit row strategies on Sunday, as it will be key in determining the winner.

Kyle Busch dominated from the 33rd lap onward on Sunday, giving his team a series-leading fifth win of the season at the Toyota/Save Mart 350.

It was his first road win in the Sprint Cup Series.

After qualifying in just 30th place, Busch in the number 18 car battled his way to the front of the pack early and held it for the remainder of the race.

Finishing in second place on the afternoon was David Gilliland while Jeff Gordon finished third.

The Sonoma, California race saw Kevin Harvick spin out and knock Jamie McMurray and Tony Stewart out of contention for the time being.

Stewart managed to put together a solid finish, sneaking into tenth place, while McMurray finished in 18th and Harvick, 30th.

The win only adds to Busch's lead in the Sprint Cup standings after what some consider a bit of a slump for the 23-year-old.
