See, Audrina needs to stick to this sort of shit. There's no need for her to try to build a career on anything other than food and bikinis. However, if you haven't already heard, silly Patridge is leaving The Hills for greener pastures.

"You know, it’s just something that I felt inside. I’m an adult now, and I don’t need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting. I’ve done that, and I’m ready to move on," Audrina told Maxim."

We think this is a mistake because Audrina has the personality of a door knob. Luckily for Audrina, there are people in Hollywood who may think differently. Mark Burnett, the brains behind Survivor, for example, is confident Audrina is the next big thing and has thrown his weight behind her for a new reality show cleverly entitled The Audrina Show.

"It’s a behind-the-scenes look at my life in L.A.—the movies and shoots and parties. It’s not as glamorous as it appears, plus it’ll actually feature people I know. It’s, like, real," Audrina said.

The Black Crowes are back.

And they’re hoping to prove that, contrary to Maxim’s premature report, they don’t suck. The Crowes launch their latest tour in Sayreville, N.J., on Sunday with new members and high hopes to reclaim their spot on the mantle of rock n’ roll's elite.

With the release of their new album, “Warpaint”, due out on Tuesday, Chris Robinson and his brother, Rich, will hit the road for three weeks on the “One Night Only” tour. They then jet to Oceania with new guitarist Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars) and keyboardist Adam MacDougall.

“Warpaint” was in the news weeks before its release when Maxim gave it 2.5 stars out of five without having heard the full album, or actually any of it other than the lead single.

Maxim has since made editorial changes after the Crowes outted them for their overeagerness to slam their work. “Warpaint” is the band’s first album since 2001 and the Crowes promises to play it in its entirety during their tour before busting out their two-decade-old catalogue in later dates.

We don't really know how, why or when Maxim began writing music reviews, but apparently, they're not very good at it. After being found guilty of writing a review for the Black Crowes latest album without listening to it, the world's worst music writer struck again, and did the same thing to rapper, Nas.

Maxim's awarded Nas' latest album 2.5 out of 5 stars, problem is, the album isn't finished yet.

Nas told the media: "I'd prefer [a review from] Playboy. That kind of stuff doesn't reach my radar or effect (sic) anybody around me. I don't know what a music rating from Maxim is . . . I don't know what it even means really." Well put, Nas!

So we at The Beat are in full understanding of laziness. In fact, we embrace it. However, Maxim must have hired either Homer Simpson or Al Bundy to write their music reviews because this guy was not serious, was he?

Apparently, he wrote a review about the Black Crowes latest album, "Warpaint" giving it 2.5 stars out of 5. Trouble was, it hadn't been released and the Black Crowes pointed out on their web site that there was no way he could have gotten a copy.

The Black Crowes' manager, Pete Angelus, said the magazine explained that its review was an "educated guess."

Maxim editorial director James Kaminsky responded with this statement: "It is Maxim's editorial policy to assign star ratings only to those albums that have been heard in their entirety. Unfortunately, that policy was not followed in the March 2008 issue of our magazine and we apologize to our readers."
