Lady Gaga VMA Outfits Terribly Stupid

The good news is that Lady Gaga's plans to steal the show at the MTV VMAs by wearing amazingly stupid outfits were foiled by a grown man throwing a hissy fit. That makes us feel good here at Bodog Beat, for the simple reason that Gaga's birdnest outfit annoyed the fuck out of us. Then her red thing (pictured above) was so insanely dumb, we wanted to punch her in her weird red mask. Now don't get us wrong; we are all for artists not wanting to conform to the beauty standards society sets, however, when you wear a goddamn bird's nest on your face to get some attention, you officially become annoying.

Kanye West Ruins Taylor Swift's VMA Win

We at Bodog Beat thought Kanye West had seen the light. Yes, we thought that after the South Park episode that parodied the eco-centric rapper as a homosexual fish, Kanye had an epiphany. After viewing the episode, West took to his blog and was surprisingly introspective, acknowledging that he had a problem with keeping his ego in check and saying that he wanted to be "a doper person." However, Kanye – who often loses his cool at award shows – freaked and ruined 17-year-old Taylor Swift's acceptance speech. That's not being a doper person, Kanye.

As Swift began her acceptance speech after winning the VMA for best female video, Kanye West ripped the microphone from her and yelled, "Taylor, I'm really happy for you. I'll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!"

Hilariously, cameras cut to Beyonce, who sat in the audience with her mouth open. Kanye handed the microphone back to Swift and left the stage to a chorus of boos from the audience. Taylor tried to continue her acceptance speech, but because her mike was cut off, no one could hear her. Producers awkwardly cut to Tracy Morgan and Eminem while poor Taylor walked off the stage.

Katy Perry Falls on Her Ass

Katy Perry was showing off during the MTV Latin America awards and much to everyone's delight, she ate shit. Performing her hit song, I Kissed a Girl, Perry tried to get all seductive by jumping out of a cake and licking her fingers in a blow-joby sort of way.

Then, as if God himself had orchestrated it, she slipped and fell on her ass repeatedly. Everyone went home satisfied.

MTV's 'The Hills' Season 4 Premieres Tonight

Nothing like a little ass shot to brighten up your Monday. And if you're looking for more, the fourth season of MTV's reality drama, The Hills, premieres tonight at 10 p.m. EST. While the show's leading lady, Lauren Conrad, has hinted that this may be the final season, fame-whoring couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, said that they'd be happy to take over the narrator duties and do a few more seasons.

"I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we're just beginning," Montag told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show on Monday. "We're not even remotely sick of it."

"Sometimes the narrator has to throw their hate up on the wall and pass the mic," Pratt added. "It's my favorite show. I love it. The Hills Season 10 is what I'm going for."

And to celebrate the return of her hit show, Montag released another single from her budding music career today as well. "Overdosin'," Montag says, "is about when you fall in love with someone… about how I feel about Spencer and my relationship."

Britney Spears and Russell Brand in VMA Promos

Britney Spears is looking like her old self again in promotional videos for the VMA Awards. In the videos, Spears and British bad boy slash comic Russell Brand share some chemistry with an elephant in the room.

"It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show," a source told E! Online. "There's also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in 'the elephant in the room.' "

Bravo Steals Bad Ideas from 'The Hills'

Just in case you weren't sufficiently annoyed by spoiled, Orange County chicks being rewarded for their shitty personalities — Bravo is jumping on the docu-drama bandwagon. There is currently a casting call for a new show entitled, Bravo's Real Kids of Orange County. So if you're young, hot, (in a skanky kind of way) and are also catty, cruel and don't know the value of a dollar, this gig could be yours.

According to the site, "Bravo is looking for Southern California’s most hip and stylish 18 to 25 year olds set for a new docu-soap. They want young adults who are enjoying the South Orange County ‘good life’ and run with a busy social crowd!"

Are you ready for more crap TV? Sounds like they're working hard on it over at Bravo.

Britney Spears to Make VMAs Comeback

Rumor has it, Britney Spears will once again blow our minds with a half-ass VMA performance. If we play our cards right, Ms. Spears will hopefully lip-synch her favorite song and awkwardly bumble across the stage.

Britney has also been nominated in the category of Best Female Video for her hit single "Piece of Me," competing alongside some women who actually sing. Out loud. MTV's full list of nominees in the category is scheduled for release on Friday.

The Hills' Lo Bosworth Has No Aspirations

The world of reality TV is for people who don't want to get real jobs and hope that their pretty faces and minimal talents will help them get by. That's exactly what's happening to Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, BFF to Lauren Conrad on the MTV hit reality show The Hills.

When asked what she's been up to since graduating from UCLA with a Bachelors degree in Art History, Bosworth responds, "I have just been hanging out by the pool.

"I would love to get my own style show or something like that," she continued to US magazine.

But don't expect the spacey blond with doe eyes to be putting in any of her own efforts to get that gig.

Bosworth also happily admits that while at UCLA, she was able to nab herself a man! However, she says that he will not be appearing in the third season of The Hills when it debuts in August. "Being on the show conflicts with his job," she said. "He works in finance."

Hmmm… sounds made up to us.

Tila Tequila Misses Shot at Love with Lesbian Kristy

Last night, on the finale of MTV's A Shot at Love 2, host and bisexual bachelorette Tila Tequila missed her shot at love when she chose and was rejected by lesbian lover Kristy.

Tila was down to two contestants, potential boyfriend Bo and Kristy, when she dismissed Bo after he did his best to use his body heat to melt a block of ice to get to "Tila's heart" frozen in the center. "I've been calling Tila my girlfriend for a long time now," a heartbroken Bo told the cameras. "I really do love Tila. You always get your Bo-bear."

However, after a steamy makeout session with Kristy in the hot tub, Tila was surprised when Kristy rejected her final key. "You love that I'm honest and that I'm true to my feelings and true about who I am," Kristy told a teary Tila. "If I take this key, I'm not being true."

"Why would you do that now?" Tila asked. "Why would you put me through all this process… I feel humiliated."

Alas, little Tila Tequila still hasn't found her "true love," so we're probably looking at a few more seasons of MTV's A Shot at Love.
