McCartney was recently added to the 120 acts at the festival among other big names who include, the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse, the Cure and Morrissey. Willie Nelson, Roger Waters and Prince, and this year has Canadian songwriter Leonard Cohen, who has not performed in the U.S. since 1993, will also take the stage.

From Paris, McCartney said, "I have heard that Coachella is one of the greatest festivals in the world. I'm really excited to get out there and rock!"

Beyonce's alter ego apparently combats her nerves during performances, interviews and photo shoots.

Beyonce told Giant magazine, "That night with Prince, I was just in a trance. I don't remember anything after I walked through the smoke onstage. I was definitely Sasha Fierce that night, completely free."

According to US magazine, is almost done recording her country album, and she debuted a video for the album's first single, "Come on Over" on her website today.

"It's going to be a great year," Papa Joe Simpson told Us. "It's 9-9 – she's into nines this year."

"We hope it's a wonderful joy. It feels really good. She is extremely happy," Joe continued.

"I had so much fun making my video," Jessica wrote. "I'm so glad y'all finally get to see it."

Joe, who confirmed that the video will be up on CMT starting next week, said, "We forget on the East and West Coasts that there is a whole country in between. That's our home, and that's Jessica's home."

Jessica also told Billboard magazine earlier this year, "I am a country girl. I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to… I think there is a strength in female country artists."
