Nicole Richie Hospitalized for Pneumonia

Nicole Richie has been hospitalized in Los Angeles for pneumonia! The mother of two checked herself in and as of now is reportedly "doing well."

"Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai, where she is being treated for pneumonia," her rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. "She is doing well."

Nicole tweeted that she wasn't feeling well over the weekend saying, "OK, cold, it's been 6 days. Let's part ways graciously & keep it moving."

Richie was apparently coughing in court on Monday while testifying against two paparazzi who she said caused her to get into a car accident. Well, not really a sparrow, but that's what she named her poor kid. And it gets worse. It's middle name is Midnight. We kid you not. Yes, the baby is named Sparrow James Midnight Madden.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Twittered the news about their newborn son.

"What a great day to come back on Twitter," Richie said. "Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!"

Madden wrote, "1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter," he Twitters. "That's right son, ur just like your old man."

Sparrow was born in the middle of the night on September 9, weighing 7lbs 14oz. Richie gave birth to their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden last January 11. Joel Madden announced on his Good Charlotte website that he's knocked up Nicole Ritchie again.

Madden says, "What's better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope your all feeling as good as i am right now."

Ritchie gave birth to their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden last January 11. Ritchie was once known as an anorexic party girl. However, once she became pregnant with Harlow, she abruptly changed her lifestyle and has become a devoted mother.

Richie, 27, recently told People magazine that Harlow "gives life a whole new meaning."

Paris Hilton is so jealous of BFF Nicole Richie. The heiress is so hungry for attention that she's ready to stretch out her vagina and hang a baby off a nipple in order to drive the paparazzi and media back to her.

According to the New York Post, Hilton is trying hard to make a baby with her boyfriend, Benji Madden. "She's jealous of all the attention Nicole Richie has been getting and knows she's fallen off in the tabs lately," a friend close to Hilton told NY Post's Page Six. "A baby would put her back in the news."

Wow, Paris is such a little schemer. I wonder if Benji knows she's gone off birth control and condoms yet? According to Page Six, Hilton has also sworn off drugs and booze "in an attempt to try and spawn."

Paris Hilton's BFF Nicole Richie is trying to get back into the "entertainment business" after giving birth to her first child earlier this year. According to US magazine, the pint-sized reality TV show star is in talks to turn her 2005 "novel" The Truth About Diamonds into a TV series.

"I would definitely produce and definitely be in the show," the 26-year-old told E! "I don't know if I need to be the star of this show. I've got a lot going on right now."

Yes, Nicole, juggling partying and breast feeding is hard work.

Richie's "book" is reportedly about a 20-something protagonist named Chloe Parker, who finds herself adopted by a famous musician at the age of 7 and swept into the world of Hollywood. According to US, Richie is currently "writing" her second "book," although she won't give any details on what it's on, saying, "I'm not telling you. It's not finished."

For some reason, people care about how Nicole Richie's People magazine baby cover is doing in comparison to Christina Aguilera's People magazine baby cover. Well, pint-sized Richie's baby, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, is kicking Max Leon Bratman's ass by about 500,000 more copies.

According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Richie's cover is "on track to sell 1.8. million copies." And according to a source, it's because "Christina historically doesn't do that well on covers," citing XXXtina's low-selling nude photo shoot for Marie Claire.

"There's also a greater element of curiosity with Nicole," the source told perezhilton.com. "She's gone public about being a heroin addict. Her boyfriend is covered in tattoos. By default, she's got the more interesting baby. People want to see how she settles down. They want to see what kind of baby someone with her background has."
