The St. Louis Rams showed Scott Linehan the door on Monday, replacing him with defensive coordinator and former Saints coach Jim Haslett on an interim basis. St. Louis was 0-4 SU and ATS, giving up a league-high 147 points and scoring a league-low 43.

Meanwhile, Oakland’s Lane Kiffin is being served up as a lame duck by Raiders management. But owner Al Davis is not as decisive as he used to be and had yet to pull the trigger at press time. Perhaps Kiffin was trying to push his buttons by sending Sebastian Janikowski out to attempt a 76-yard field goal against San Diego.

Marvin Lewis might also be circling the wanted ads before too long. His Bengals are 0-4 (1-3 ATS), and rumor has it QB Carson Palmer needs Tommy John surgery. Tough times.
