If you are a betting backer of one of the six NFL teams still without a win through four weeks, you probably are tired of losing your money on that team. And you certainly can forget about the playoffs if your club is 0-4, as just one team since 1990 that started with four losses has made it to the postseason (the 1992 Chargers).

The last winless NFL team will be…?
Get your NFL team props at Bodog.

So the folks at Bodog Sportsbook have come up with a good NFL prop on which you maybe can make some of your money back. You can wager on the site on which of those six teams will be the last to get a victory this year.

Let's take a look at the top bottom six:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+225): That the Bucs are "favored" to win this prop is a tad surprising to me. Maybe it shouldn't be. Tampa Bay has no direction at quarterback, with Josh Johnson basically holding the job until 2009 first-round pick Josh Freeman is ready. The Bucs aren't very good on offense (28th in points per game) or defense (25th in points allowed). They may not be favored in a game the rest of the season, and they certainly won't win this week at Philly. But Week 6 against Carolina is a possibility even though Tampa Bay has won just one of its past six at home against the Panthers. Other than that Week 9 off a bye against Green Bay seems a shot for Tampa Bay. I don't think the Bucs make it to Week 10 without a loss.

St. Louis Rams (+250): That St. Louis isn't the favorite to be the last winless team definitely is a surprise. It has dropped an NFL-high 14 games and managed just 24 points this year to go with the worst point differential in the league at minus-84. Unlike the Bucs, Browns or Chiefs on this list, the Rams do have an elite running back in Steven Jackson. But the Rams' QB situation might be the worst in the league, because they don't even have a future guy in place and Marc Bulger just isn't cutting it when healthy. The game everyone is pointing to for this team is Week 8 at Detroit, with the loser quite possibly getting the No. 1 pick in the draft. I say the smart money among the winless teams should go on St. Louis.

Cleveland Browns (+250): The Browns just aren't this bad. And they might get better by trading Braylon Edwards, who had become a major distraction, headache and pass-dropping nightmare. Cleveland has a winnable game this week at Buffalo, then another one in Week 7 at home against the Packers.

Kansas City Chiefs (+400): This is a young team with a lot of talent that simply needs to learn how to win – something the Chiefs have done only twice since Week 8 of the 2007 season. Matt Cassel clearly isn't comfortable in the offense yet, and the Chiefs have dropped eight in a row at home. But don't count out an upset this week against Dallas. If not, Week 9 or 10, at Jacksonville and at Oakland, respectively, could be the Chiefs' first win.

Tennessee Titans (+1200): Everything that could go wrong has for the Titans. Just a year ago they led the NFL in wins; now they actually have lost six in a row counting last year's playoffs. Kerry Collins has six picks already after having seven all last year. The defense really misses Albert Haynesworth, ranking 31st against the pass and allowing 27 points a game after giving up just 16 per last year. But there's way too much veteran pride for this to continue much longer – look for an upset of the Colts this week.

Carolina Panthers (+1600): The Panthers seem very solid at every position but the most important one: quarterback. They also have something over these other teams don't, and that's three losses instead of four. Last week's bye came at just the right time for Carolina and QB Jake Delhomme. They will beat the Redskins this week or the Bucs next, so the oddsmakers were wise to list the Panthers as the longest shots.

To summarize, the Rams are probably the most likely team to win this prop, but the Chiefs might provide the best value. K.C. does have one benefit at home, however, that St. Louis won't soon: the elements could help the Chiefs slow down and upset a better team, while the Rams play indoors.

No team in the NFL choked late last season more than the Tampa Bay Bucs. Yes, choke is a strong word, but what else do you call it when a team has a playoff spot all but locked up but drops its final four games, including a home season finale against the lousy Oakland Raiders?

That collapse cost coach Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen their jobs despite a 9-7 record. In are Raheem Morris, the youngest head coach in the league and formerly the team's secondary coach (the Bucs are hoping to strike gold as the Steelers did in former Bucs secondary coach Mike Tomlin), and GM Mark Dominik, who has been in the Tampa Bay front office for years. Also gone is long-time defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, who announced his intention to join son Lane at the University of Tennessee late last season, which some credit/blame for the team's slide. QB Jeff Garcia, the team's starter most of last year, is now in Oakland. Receiver Joey Galloway is in New England. Running back Warrick Dunn is looking for work. But the biggest shock was the team cutting future Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Brooks, probably the best player in franchise history.

Still like the Bucs' odds? Then bet on them.
Get all your Super Bowl odds at Bodog.

The Bucs drafted Kansas State's Josh Freeman in the first round to be the franchise quarterback, but they don't really want him playing until late this season if at all. It appears retread Byron Leftwich will win the starting job over Luke McCown, with the Bucs hoping to trade the loser of that battle. Tampa Bay does appear solid at running back, having signed Giants free agent Derrick Ward to go along with Earnest Graham and, perhaps, Cadillac Williams if he can return from another knee injury. And Kellen Winslow gives the team its best receiving tight end in years. The offensive line also is very solid.

It's on defense where this club could look very different, as it is moving away from Kiffin's famed Cover-2 scheme under new coordinator Jim Bates. The Bucs only had 29 sacks last year, and that number must grow substantially or this unit will take a step back.

Overall, this seems like a huge rebuilding season.

Here is the Bucs' 2009 schedule, and we’ll break it down after:
Sept. 13 vs. Dallas Cowboys, 1 p.m.
Sept. 20 at Buffalo Bills, 4:05 p.m.
Sept. 27 vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m.
Oct. 4 at Washington Redskins, 1 p.m.
Oct. 11 at Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m.
Oct. 18 vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Oct. 25 vs. New England Patriots, 1 p.m. (London)
Week 8: Bye
Nov. 8 vs. Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m.
Nov. 15 at Miami Dolphins, 1 p.m.
Nov. 22 vs. New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.
Nov. 29 at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m.
Dec. 6 at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Dec. 13 vs. New York Jets, 1 p.m.
Dec. 20 at Seattle Seahawks, 4:15 p.m.
Dec. 27 at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.
Jan. 3 vs. Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m.

Strength of schedule: 5th (opponents combined to go 148-107-1, .580, in 2008)
Projected record: 4-12
Bodog over/under total: 6 1/2
Bodog odds to win NFC South: 6/1
Bodog odds to win NFC: 28/1
Bodog odds to win Super Bowl XLIV: 65/1

In a way, the Bucs might have the most difficult schedule in the league. After all, they have to face the very tough AFC East and NFC East (four of their first five games against this loaded division), but then again so does the rest of Tampa Bay's division. What the Bucs have that no other team in the NFL does is just seven home games, courtesy of that "home" matchup against the Patriots in London.

That Week 2 game in Buffalo is the Bucs' first-ever trip there. Hey, if you are going to go, at least do it in September! But, honestly, I don't see Tampa Bay being a favorite in any game until possibly either Nov. 22 against the Saints or Dec. 13 against the Jets. And, yes, I realize the Bucs have won the past two in Tampa against Dallas. And Tampa Bay has won the past three regular-season meetings against Washington, but I expect a 0-for-NFC East run for Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay won its first six home games last year, but it's possible the Bucs start 0-5 at Raymond James Stadium in 2009. I would think a 0-3 home start is a lock, with a victory over Green Bay possible considering the Bucs have won six of the past seven at home against the Packers. I expect a home win over the Jets, who visit Tampa for the first time since 2000.

Tampa Bay doesn't have a prime-time game scheduled this year; by comparison, the other three NFC South teams each have at least two.

By the way, the Bucs will break out those garish orangesicle uniforms for that home Packer game on Nov. 8. Unfortunately, I believe this team puts up a record similar to those old bad Buc teams.

This will be the final game of the Florida preseason round-robin with the Miami Dolphins visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay, who is a 2.5-point favorite, plans to start RB Cadillac Williams. The 2005 Offensive Rookie of the Year is eager to get going after undergoing major knee surgery for the second time in just over a year.

This will be the last chance for Buccaneers quarterbacks Byron Leftwich and Luke McCown to impress head coach Raheem Morris. Leftwich will get the start at Raymond James Stadium, and is expected to play into the second quarter, when he will be replaced by McCown.

Miami is still sorting out its receiving corps. Ted Ginn Jr., Greg Camarillo, and Davone Bess are the only receivers certain to make the roster.

Chad Pennington and the starters should play the majority of the first half tonight, in keeping with third-week-of-preseason tradition.

Vince Young had an inconsistent performance in a 21-18 win over the Buffalo Bills in the NFL preseason-opening Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night.

He will look to put forth a better effort when the Tennessee Titans play their second preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night.

The Titans are currently listed as 3.5-point favorites.

Tampa Bay will be without receiver Antonio Bryant, who has a torn meniscus in his left knee that will sideline him for the remainder of training camp.

Bryant will undergo arthroscopic surgery and is expected to be ready to play in the regular-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 13.

TE Kellen Winslow missed a practice with an ankle sprain and struggled with the heat, but he had a monster week of practice, catching several touchdowns in team work and creating mismatches wherever he lined up. Now he just has to do it in a game.

As each team continues to battle for a playoff spot, the Buccaneers put their perfect home record on the line as they match up against a Chargers team that is riding a late-season surge for a second straight year.

Tampa Bay can clinch a playoff berth this weekend with a win over the Bolts, a loss by Atlanta, and a loss by either Dallas or Philadelphia.

The Chargers' postseason hopes were hampered by three straight losses at the end of November, but they've won both games this month to improve to 12-0 in December contests since 2006. The Chargers have won all four previous games in Tampa Bay, but haven't played there since Jan. 2, 1994.

The Falcons will face two strong running games over their final three games. Tampa Bay went into their Monday night game at Carolina ranked 11th rushing the ball at 118 yards per game. Minnesota is fifth in the league at 140.4 yards per game.

This year, all four teams have winning records, and we’ll see the top two division contenders on Monday Night Football when the Carolina Panthers (9-3 SU, 6-5-1 ATS) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3 SU, 7-5 ATS).

The Panthers are 3-point favorites at press time (–120) with a total of 38.5 points. You can also get Carolina at –170 on the moneyline, and live betting is on the menu for what promises to be one of the best MNF matchups of the season.

Tampa Bay is the stronger team on paper with a point differential of +80 compared to +54 for the Cats. And when these two clubs met at Raymond James Stadium in Week 6, the Bucs (–1) sailed to a 27-3 triumph. However, Tampa Bay’s beaten-up defensive line could be vulnerable to Carolina’s running game this week.

The Saints’ playoff hopes are hanging in the balance and a loss Sunday could destroy their chances.

The Bucs were the latest team to beat up on the Lions over the weekend in a 38-20 victory. Jeff Garcia had a pair of touchdown passes, and running back Warrick Dunn had no problem taking over the starting job from injured Earnest Graham with 90 yards and a TD on 14 carries.

The Saints have a short week after a date with the Packers on Monday night and hope that Reggie Bush will finally be ready to return from a four-week injury lay-off.

In Week 1 the Bucs and Saints clashed when New Orleans came out on top 24-20 as a 3-point favorite. Drew Brees torched the Bucs for 343 passing yards and three touchdowns on that day, while Bush was a major factor with eight receptions for 112 yards and a TD.
Of course, the 0-10 skid is one that Lions backers would like to see come to an end. At least Daunte Culpepper seemed a lot more comfortable in his second start, less than two weeks after signing with the Lions. He went 20-for-35 for 207 yards and a touchdown.

Detroit enters this game as 8.5-point underdogs and will be looking to steal a game against a Buccaneers team that is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in Detroit.

Jeff Garcia passed for 255 yards and helped the Bucs control the ball in the second half as they knocked off the Vikings 19-13 on Sunday. The Bucs scored one touchdown against the Vikings despite five trips inside the red zone, where the team has struggled all year.

Each is 3-1 SU and in 1-3 ATS in its last four games. But the Buccaneers have two things going for them on Sunday: home-field advantage, and the bye week. That makes Tampa Bay a 4-point chalk at -115.

Both of these teams lead with their defense. The Bucs are third in the NFL this year with 135 first downs allowed, while the Vikings are fourth at 139. The difference is at the other end. Minnesota leans heavily on RB Adrian Peterson (4.9 yards per carry), while Tampa Bay has a more balanced offense with QB Jeff Garcia (89.6 passer rating) at the controls.

This is the first contest between these two clubs since 2005. Tampa Bay is 3-1 ATS at home; Minnesota is 1-3 ATS on the road.
