After a steamy episode where Jillian and Jason had some serious hot tub action, Jason dumped her ass, telling her he'd placed her in the friend category. Does he molest all his friends like that?

Jillian apperaed on last night's After the Final Rose Ceremony Part 2 and said, “It’s a great opportunity for me. I fell in love once before and I know this is a great venue for me to fall in love again,” she added. “Seeing what Jason went through makes you realize there are no guarantees in life. I only hope I make the right choice the first time.”

Host Chris Harrison told viewers that choosing Jillian as the new Bachelorette was easy for producers, saying that crowning her the new Bachelorette was “a pretty easy decision.”

“There was one girl this season who really captured America’s heart.”

Next season, Jillian will sift through 25 men in search of a husband. This process has worked out for one couple so far – Trista and Ryan – who are married and are expecting their second baby. There are two other couples still together. Mary Delgado and Byron Velnick (although she has been arrested for beating him up) and Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice.

Tonight, ABC milked more of the Bachelor drama in After the Final Rose Part 2 because, sadly, we all can't seem to get enough of. So it's another six weeks later since Monday's taped After the Final Rose special. Jason Mesnick joined Chris Harrison back on the couch and redefined his waffling as "following his heart."

"I had to do whrat was right for everybody," Mesnick said. "It was just honest. And that's the truth."

Mesnick also talked about on the day of the proposal and how when he let Molly go, he realized it was the wrong decision. He also said that Melissa was everything that he thought he wanted.

When Molly came out, the pair sat together and shared how happy they are. When Chris asked Molly whether she was angry at being dumped in New Zealand, she said that she and Jason have a stronger appreciation for each other having gone through all they went through. She also revealed that she is moving to Seattle to be with Jason.

If you missed it, Bachelor Jason Mesnick chose Melissa as his bride, then six weeks later, changed his mind and opted for the runner-up, Molly Malaney.

After suffering some jabs from Kimmel, Jason argued that he really did spend the whole six weeks, which included Christmas, following the final rose ceremony and up until the first After The Final Rose special with Melissa. But once the cameras were off, it seemed that their relationship changed.

"What really happened is the chemistry was completely different," he explained. "The relationship was completely different, the conversations, which were so great on the show, were completely different. How was I supposed to lead someone on and keep going if it really wasn't there? That's the honest truth."

Mesnick also said that he and Melissa were pretty much broken up going into the After The Final Rose special.

"She knew," he said. "The question was, are you really going to even wear your ring because we're not together? We could not see each other before that, so we had to have conversations on the phone."

Mesnick also claimed that he had to cruelly dump her on national television signed away his right to privacy when he became the Bachelor. He also claimed that he and Molly were dating but taking things slowley.

Now if you didn't watch last season's drama, DeAnna brutally blinded-sided Jason, allowing him to almost propose before giving him the boot. Jason, whose previous wife had left him for another man, was so sure he'd won DeAnna's heart, he dropped to his knees to propose. Realizing he was about to pop the question, DeAnna grabbed his arm to pull him up. "No, I can't," she blurted.

DeAnna picked professional snowboarder Jessie Csinsak – and they're relationship was short-lived.

After introducing both Melissa and Molly to his family and his kid, Ty, Jason was obviously conflicted.

"Jason's taking this very seriously – he does not know what to do right now," Jason's mom, Irene Mesnick told cameras.

However, the return of Jason's reality show reject love was a brew. You could tell by the ominous change in weather patterns. DeAnna showed up to Jason's reality pad in New Zealand and rang the doorbell.

"If I chose you it would have worked, DeAnna told Jason. "If I could go back and would have followed what I wanted, I would have chose you."

She told him that he hadn't proposed to anyone yet, and that it's not too late for them. Jason didn't really decline or accept her offer – he just put her in a car and sent her on her way. Hooh raah!

When the limo finally pulled up, Molly stepped out wearing a deep purple gown.

"You are absolutely stunning and amazing," he said. "I don't know how I would ever let you go. But I have to."

"I just don't get it. I just don't get it. I just think you're making a huge mistake and you're going to end up hurt again," Molly said as Jason walked her out to the limo-o-shame.

When he proposed to Melissa, she jumped up and down when he finally told her he loved her.

"I'm going to be a Mesnick!" Melissa said before she, Jason and his son Ty jumped into the pool in their formal wear.

BUT – trouble was a brewin' again! The After the Final Rose Ceremony Show revealed that Jason and Melissa were not right for each other. Jason told Chris Harrison that since the cameras turned off, the chemistry has been completely different. Then he dropped the biggest bombshell EVAH! He told Chris that he couldn't get over Molly and that he was still in love with her.

Then, if that wasn't enough, Chris Harrison brought Melissa out on stage so Jason could break up with her on national TV. It was the most awkward half-hour of television in the history of television. Melissa called him a bastard and everything! To put the cherry on top of the shit sundae, the show brought Molly back so that Jason could beg for a second chance.

“I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you,” Jason told Molly in a long-winded, rambling speech. “My heart hasn’t let go.” He then asked her out for coffee. Yeah, it was weird.

Molly looked confused and kept looking over at Chris Harrison. "But what about Melissa?" Molly finally asked.

Jason launched into more rambling about what he'd just done was terrible, but that he didn't want to live with regrets, etc. Although Molly said she was confused, she added, “My feelings never went away. I think we can see where things go.”

Realizing that he was about to propose, DeAnna blurted, "No I can't" and grabbed his arm to pull him up.

Jason's jaw tightened as she told him she would be the luckiest person in the world to be with him, but that she was in love with someone else. In the limo, a shell-shocked Jason clutched the unopened engagement ring box and remarked, "The only sure thing I have is my little boy."

Thus, the Internets went wild with chicks dying to meet Jason and ABC realized immediately who their next Bachelor must be.

Last night's premiere was shocking – yes shocking – as female contenders desperately showcased their gimmicks in order to score a rose from Mesnick. Some danced; some made hot dogs; some recited bad poetry; one girl actually admitted to quitting her teaching job to go on the show, while another recited all the information from Mesnick's MySpace page. Some things are better left unsaid.

The kicker was the montage at the end – which previewed the upcoming drama on the season. We saw girls slapping each other, chicks in swimming pools, the return of DeAnna The Terrible and Jason having a nervous breakdown on a balcony. Oh man, bring it on, ABC. Bring it.

But living happily ever after has been rough for Delgado – who was arrested for kicking Velvick's ass during a domestic dispute last year.

Over the weekend, Delgado was arrested again for public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Delgado was at Lorina's Cantina in Del Rio, Texas and cops were called after she had a few too many and refused to leave saying "it was her constitutional right" to stay as long as she wanted.

She apparently became belligerent when cops tried to haul her away and she kicked in the radio inside the police car. Velvick came to her rescue and posted her bond at the Val Verde County Facility.

"I have it and I am going to keep it forever for the rest of my life," Lamas told People magazine. "It's safe and clean and in a glass box like a glass slipper."

And according to People, Grant is happy with that arrangement and "wants to come over and look at it."

Lamas also insists that infidelity was never the reason for breaking off their engagement. The 22-year-old daughter of Renegade star Lorenzo Lamas was spotted partying in Las Vegas with a local business on the heels of breakup reports. "I want to clear this up 100 percent," said Lamas. "That [Vegas trip] had nothing to do with our breakup. I was in Vegas with friends. Matt and I had already broken up. So I was a single 22-year-old woman having fun."

According to People, Lamas insists that she will try to stay single for a while now. "If I find the man, I'll do it, but I'm going to give this the two-year test. And then marry him. I think I've learned that two months is a little two short."

Yes, America was stunned when Matt chose Shayne, the woman with the most red flags and least long-term potential, ignoring all the subtle warning signs: the borderline retarded questions ("Do they have palm trees in England?"), the spray tan, the melodrama. By ignoring these red flags, Matt inadvertently sentenced himself to a short-lived relationship with someone who was not his intellectual equal.

Matt was troubled by their cerebral differences on various occasions, at one point, even point-blank asking Shayne whether she knew anything about politics, a question she dodged with the assertion that she is intellectual, and then added, "Is that how you say that word?"

"We tried hard to make it work but we realized that we were both heading in different directions," the former couple said in a joint statement, People. "We truly care about each other and will remain close friends."
