Big news in the world of Mixed Martial Arts today as Tito Ortiz – aka "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" – has signed a deal with upstart organization Affliction.

Ortiz is scheduled to debut for Affliction on their next card, an October 11th event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. He'll be fighting Renato "Babalu" Sobral in his first match outside of UFC.

Ortiz became a MMA free agent on Monday after his 11-year career with UFC came to a close. Many companies were quick to jump on him, including EliteXC and the American Fight League. But connections with Affliction stakeholder Donald Trump – who worked with Ortiz during the latest installment of Celebrity Apprentice – proved to be the deciding factor in negotiations.

Ortiz immediately did what he does best – talk the talk – in anticipation for his match against Sobral. As told to CNNSI.com:

"Babalu has been in my crosshairs," Ortiz said. "He's already been talking smack, saying if he sees me he's going to kick my ass, but right on if he keeps thinking that. He'll get his face caved in sooner or later. I know Frank Shamrock is another person who's been opening up his mouth. He beat me the last time we fought and I think that would be a great revenge fight where I kick his ass and finally shut him up. As time goes we'll see who Affliction signs besides me. I don't know. I might even go up to heavyweight if the bigger pay days are there."

Porn star Jenna Jameson is joining the ranks of Hollywood's expectant mothers. The 34-year-old has confirmed that she is preggers with UFC athlete Tito Ortiz, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton reports.

"She's completely thrilled," a source told Page Six. "This is something she's wanted for a very long time. She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she's postponed everything."

According to Perez Hilton, Jameson was once pregnant but suffered a miscarriage during her failed marriage to Jay Grdina. The porn star also apparently tried several in vitro treatments, but those were reportedly unsuccessful.

Frank Shamrock may fight Tito Ortiz in 2009.

Frank Shamrock may fight Tito Ortiz in 2009.

Strikeforce middleweight champion Frank Shamrock (23-8-1) likes to plan out his fights in advance. In fact, even though he'll be facing Cung Le (5-0-0) on March 29 in San Jose, Calif., he's already picking who he'll face in 2009.

Originally, he wanted to face his older brother Ken Shamrock (26-13-2) for a battle between adopted brothers, a concept he calls "blood brothers" according to Yahoo! Sports. Now, however, with Ken losing by first round TKO in Cage Rage, financial backers of the fight have gotten nervous, fearing that fans might not want to see a Shamrock vs. Shamrock match.

According to the report, Frank is also speaking with Tito Ortiz (15-5-1) about a possible rematch. He and Ortiz first fought at UFC 22: Only One Can Be Champion, in September 1999. Shamrock won by fourth-round submission due to strikes, then retired from the UFC.

Ortiz has one fight left on his UFC contract, a May 24 battle against Lyoto Machida (12-0-0) at UFC 84: Ill Will. After that, he has said he plans on leaving the UFC for other events.

Currently, Ortiz is the +160 underdog against Machida in the Bodog Sportsbook. For his match against Le, Shamrock is the -220 favorite to win.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz (15-5-1) says his fight with Lyoto Machida (12-0-0) will mark the last time he steps into the octagon, as long as UFC president Dana White is still in charge.

"I started getting bigger than the UFC, so they tried to smash me down," he says in an interview with MSNBC.com. "The way Dana treats me, and the way he treats other fighters who can't speak out, I'm going to speak out. I've been here for a decade and my pay-scale hasn't gone up at all."

Ortiz has one fight left on his contract and is scheduled to face undefeated Brazilian Machida on May 24, 2008.

"Machida would not have been the person I would've picked," Ortiz explains. "It was so built around a Rashad [Evans] rematch, I think that would've been the proper fight. It would've been a bigger pay-per-view."

So what's the chance Ortiz will fight in the UFC again after his fight with Machida?

"As Dana White president?" he says. "Zero percent."

Not to be outdone, White also shares his feelings about Ortiz. "I've known Tito for ten years," he says. "Tito is not a top-10 fighter anymore. He's not on anybody's top 10. He hasn't won a significant fight in two years. As far as the revenues, Tito's on a contract. He's acting like we're on a fight-by-fight basis. The guy's a fucking embarrassment. He's like a walking, talking freakshow."
