Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin's former fiancé is on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine for October 2009 issue with the headline "Me and Mrs. Sarah Palin by Levi Johnston."

In the interview, Johnston talked about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, revealing that Palin often complained about her workload as governor and wanted to hide her daughter's pregnancy by adopting the baby herself.

Johnston claimed that Sarah often fought with her husband, Todd, who slept in a separate room during the Republican National Convention.

There was a lot of talk of divorce in that house," Johnston said, "times when Sarah and Todd would mention it and sound pretty serious.”

"Even before she was nominated,” Johnston went on to say, “there wasn't much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn't cook, Todd doesn't cook—the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school. Most of the time Bristol would help her youngest sister with her homework, and I'd barbecue chicken or steak on the grill.”

What do you think? Are Johnston's allegations true? Will he have an effect on Palin's future bid for the presidency – if there is one? Or is this just Johnston desperately scrambling to hold onto his dwindling 15 minutes of fame? Jessica Simpson will grace the cover of Vanity Fair's June issue beside the tag line, "You Call This Fat?"

Simpson has had a tough time of things since the Internets were abuzz with pictures of Simpson at a concert sporting a fuller figure. Simpson has also had bad luck with her musical and movie career, being dropped from her record label, being booed for forgetting lyrics at a concert and for her movies going straight to DVD. However, the good news is she looks smoking hot in her Vanity Fair pictorial, so things could be looking up for her.

Simpson told Vanity Fair, "When it comes to media criticism, that's just something I have had to train myself–literally train myself–to ignore. I mean, the way people make it sound, I should have never been singing in the first place. It comes with what I do, and I know that every day the media's going to challenge me, is going to want to bring me down. But I feel like I'm at such a place that I own myself, and it's authentic. I own that authentic part of myself, and none of those words are harsh enough to make me believe them – I can't imagine saying some of the things people have said about me about anybody else."

With a hit show on her hands as well as an uncanny resemblance to a Republican vice presidential nominee, 38-year-old Tina Fey is today's "it" girl. However, in an interview with Vanity Fair, the truth behind the scar that runs down her left cheek has been revealed.

Apparently, when Fey was just five-years-old, she was playing in her front yard when a stranger walked up and slashed her cheek.

"It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen," Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond, told Vanity Fair.

"It's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it," Fey said.

"I proceeded unaware of it," Fey added. "I was a very confident little kid. It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera."

After last week's New Yorker cover sent shock waves through America, Vanity Fair has now one-upped the competition with a cover that spoof's their cover.

Last week, The New Yorker ran a satirical cover with a cartoon of Barack Obama dressed in Muslim attire, fist bumping his wife Michelle, who is dressed as a 60s radical, while the American flag burns in the fireplace and a portrait of Osama bin Laden hangs on the wall.

To get in on the fun, as well as cash in on some of their own publicity, Vanity Fair has run a cover satirizing the New Yorker's cover, but uses John McCain as the political target. The cartoon shows McCain bent over a walker; fist bumping his wife Cindy (who holds an armload of prescription drugs), while the Constitution burns in the fireplace and President Bush's portrait hangs on the wall.

Vanity Fair says of their cover, "We had our own presidential campaign cover in the works, which explored a different facet of the Politics of Fear, but we shelved it when The New Yorker’s became the “It Girl” of the blogosphere. Now, however, in a selfless act of solidarity with our downstairs neighbors here at the Condé Nast building, we’d like to share it with you. Confidentially, of course."

In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Madonna talks about being heckled as a youngster and redefines the word "torture."

In an attempt to peddle her latest album, Hard Candy, Madonna talks about the plight of Britney Spears. You know, the girl who offers herself up to ridicule on a silver platter by flashing her hoo haa all around town.

"When you think about the way people treat each other in Africa, about witchcraft and people inflicting cruelty and pain on each other, then come back here and, you know, people taking pictures of people when they’re in their homes, being taken to hospitals, or suffering, and selling them, getting energy from them, that’s a terrible infliction of cruelty. So who’s worse off?" she asked.

Ummm… I'm gonna go with the people of Africa, Madge.

Madonna then told Vanity Fair about her "tortured" youth.

“I wasn’t a hippie or a stoner, so I ended up being the weirdo. I was interested in classical ballet and music, and the kids were quite mean if you were different. I was one of those people that people were mean to."

Rather than feeling sorry for herself, she said she "decided to emphasize my differences. I didn’t shave my legs. I had hair growing under my arms. I refused to wear makeup, or fit the ideal of what a conventionally pretty girl would look like. So of course I was tortured even more."

Perhaps she should look up the word “torture.” Generally, I think of the rack or flagellation… not school kids laughing at Madonna’s unshaven pits.

Hopefully Vanity Fair reporters had a Whaaambulance standing by.
