We had a chance to speak with Howard and ask him about himself and his big win.

Tell us a bit about yourself Howard.

I’m married. I live in Houston, Texas and I have an eleven-year-old son. I’m a CTA and I do some stuff with oil and gas wells.

So what did you do immediately after?

Well there’s my house. The builder made some mistakes when he built my house about seven years ago so I’m having some major repairs. I have to hire a lawyer to sue the builder. Fortunately I’ve been able to rent the house next door to me while the repairs get done. But it’s going to cost about $300,000 to get it all fixed.

Sounds like this is coming at a good time then.

Yeah, it is a good time since we’re fixing to move back into the house and we’ll probably have to wait about a year to collect any money from the builder.
