NFL Quarterbacks Expected to Make a Comeback

When you take a look at what NFL quarterbacks are set to make a huge comeback this season, you have to start with Tom Brady. The only thing that kept him from dominating the league again last year was an injury in Week 1. Assuming he stays healthy, Brady is going to light it up again.

No wonder he is listed at +450 to end the year with the most gross passing yards and listed at +450 to be the MVP.

Vince Young is a good bet to bounce back. Young only played in three games last season, and if he can return to the form he had in his rookie season he could be the comeback story of the year.

Finally, everyone is wondering what Michael Vick will do with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is making the biggest comeback of all and it is still a longshot to work out.

It’s okay, you can open your eyes now. The New England Patriots are fine with their No. 2 quarterback. So are the Tennessee Titans.

The betting public took a big step away from the Patriots and the Titans after the events of Week 1. Tom Brady (torn ACL, MCL) and Vince Young (knee, psyche) are both on the shelf, and both their teams were 1-point road faves on Sunday. No sweat. The Patriots beat the Jets 19-10, and the Titans brushed off Cincinnati 24-7. All is well if you stuck with the chalk.

The trick here is that New England and Tennessee have fairly complete teams with depth at several positions. They can better withstand the loss of a key skill player. Tampa Bay, another strong club, beat Atlanta with Brian Griese (18-for-31, one TD, zero INT) in place of Jeff Garcia. Not so strong: the rebuilding Kansas City Chiefs. They lost QB Brodie Croyle, and then they lost to Oakland.

Vince Young Apologizes For Party Photos

The above photo has been circling the pipes and tubes for quite some time now – Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young doing god knows what with god knows who. Funny? Kinda. Disturbing? Kinda. Big deal? We didn't think so, but apparently Vince did. The star QB offered up this apology to the Nashville City Paper:

""I mean I really feel like I was having a good time with some of my current Longhorn friends, NFL guys and things like that," Young said. "You know how it is. As a quarterback you can't have too much fun. I blame myself for that. At the same time, I've just got to watch certain things like that and not go too fast…I really apologize to some of the kids if they did see it, because I'm trying to be a role model to them. But at the same time, I was just having fun, having a good time with my guys. I ain't seen them in a long time we hadn't been back in Austin in so long."

Yes Vince, it certainly seems as though you were having a good time. The stars on your nipples would suggest as much.

Listen, I'm not here to judge what Vince Young, the 24-year-old Tennessee Titans quarterback, does during the offseason. It's his free time, who wouldn't be getting a little twisted at that age? But I'm sure as hell going to make fun of this pic anyway!

What in the hell is he doing running around swappin' sweat with (hopefully) half-naked "ballers" in Texas . Gotta give him props though, he's downing that bottle of Patron like it's Gatorade.

A spokerperson for the Titans had "no comment". And why should they, how the hell do you explain this? Remind me to avoid any Texas frat parties.
